WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO THIS CLINIC VISIT?
You must bring an I.D. with you. Your I.D. can be a passport, a UAE driving license, or a national I.D. card. If you do not have an I.D. card with you, you will not be able to see the doctors. These are regulations insisted upon by the Department of Health (DOHMS).
WHAT ARE THE COSTS FOR A CLINIC VISIT AND FOR SURGERY? WHAT OTHER COSTS AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR?
There is no charge to have a consultation with Dr. Nath to have him discuss treatment options with you.
However, there is a charge for each clinic visit for the clinic facility itself - and it is 400 AED (dirham) (USD$ 109). This amount gets paid directly to the clinic facility. There is an additional charge for any tests that may be done at that time (i.e. EMG tests, MRI or CT scans).
There is a charge for surgery and the hospital if you were to have surgery with Dr. Nath. Please contact us at tnpiclinics@gmail.com for the details.
Mod Quad & Triangle Tilt surgeries cannot be done at the same time - however, they can be done within 3 months of each other.
The patient and/or family is responsible for all travel costs and hotel costs and for making their own travel arrangements. The location of the clinic and the hospital is Jumeirah Beach district and we suggest that you use the site www.tripadvisor.com to find a hotel that will be suitable to your family's needs.
WILL DR. NATH BE THE ONLY DOCTOR AT THIS CLINIC VISIT?
Yes, Dr. Nath will be the only doctor at this clinic visit unless he decides to have a visiting physician sit in.
Cristina, a female nurse who works at OMSS is available in case a female patient needs assistance.
WHO CAN I BRING TO THIS CLINIC VISIT?
If you are bringing a child it is helpful (but not necessary) to have someone accompany you. This makes it easier for you to talk with Dr. Nath while someone watches your child. You are also welcome to bring anyone who you think will help make the appointment easier for you, including family, friends or your therapist. Please do not bring an attorney with you.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
Current EMG test reports, MRI, CT scan, Xrays. (only if you've had them done recently). For the children, please come prepared with snacks, bottles, diapers, toys, clothing changes, etc. For older children, please bring games that can be played with other children as well. Do as best as you can to get the children to socialize with each other. This is a great chance for them to meet others with the same issues. We book the appointments in age groupings on purpose so that socialization can occur. You may want to make plans to go to the Jumeirah Beach Park after your visit so that the children can spend time playing together.
HOW LONG IS MY APPOINTMENT?
The average appointment time is 15 minutes long, however, Dr. Nath will make sure that all of your questions are answered. If you come prepared with written questions, you can have a very comprehensive appointment with Dr. Nath. You must come at least 15 minutes early so that you can sign paperwork for the office.
I AM FEMAILE, WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Wear comfortable clothing. If you are a female (age 5 & up), it would be best if you wore a swimsuit top or sports bra type of top so he can view your scapulas, back and shoulders with modesty. You can wear a thin gauze shirt on top of it if you wish or bring a scarf to wrap around the chest portion of your body and under your arms - leaving the shoulders free to be seen. Cristina (a female nurse) is available to assist female patients if necessary.
WHERE SHOULD WE STAY WHEN TRAVELING TO DUBAI?
Look at the site www.tripadvisor.com. They have all the hotels there and you can view the price and personal reviews. The clinic and hospital are both in the Jumeirah Beach area.
